NYC- December 11, 2017

Today there was an attempted terrorist attack at the Port Authority- steps away from a hotel I have stayed at often. It hits home. I was already safe in my office at ESB.

East Coast

Walked to the office from my hotel on 40th and 8th Ave. Walked through Harold Square. Slight rain, cold winds on a fall morning.

Sitting now on 29th floor of the Empire State Building. Not too shabby. I am going to make it a great day.

Another week another adventure.

Although somewhat reluctant I head this week to Canada to kick off yet another leg of this massive project.
It will be fine, I will rock it and I will be home Friday night to spend a wonderful weekend at the Oasis.

My office for this morning. Since I arrived almost 3 hours early I have plenty of time to get work done while I wait.

ALASKA

Spending my birthday in Alaska, thanks to Danielle's work trip. Beautiful time. A bit cold, -1 has been the record thus far. The rental car does not have heat. It's been rough. Ha. Danielle and Mark are great partners in adventure.

Saw a moose yesterday on the way to Chena hot springs. The hot spring was so great. I will definitely do that again.

Weekend in NY

Had Susan in for the weekend. 3 shows- Beautiful, A Bronx Tale and Miss Saigon.

Harbor cruise, walked the Highline- in the rain. Chelsea Market.

Observations at 30,000 Feet

Sitting in first class on yet another flight to NYC. I am starting to observe older women. I am beginning to realize that I will be one at some point.

It is time for me to figure out what kind of older women I want to be. What comes after work? Do I find a way to become a professor? Wouldn't that be neat?

But, I need to make a list of things I need to do so last long enough to be the women of my dreams!
Health- Get fit
Money- Save, save, save
Happiness- ???
