You're not losing a daughter...

But it feels like I am.  My oldest daughter, Danielle,  had spent Christmas with her sister and me in Massachusetts and had just returned to her home in Colorado when I got the call.  Her boyfriend picked her up at the airport- and proposed.  He missed her.  She is giddy with joy  I am extremely happy for her but something is pulling just a little bit at my heart.

Christmas Day 2010

Having a wonderful Chirstmas day with both girls home.  On the 23rd we went to NYC- got to see the famous tree and had dinner at Peanut Butter and Co.  Delish.
We also had a couple drinks before dinner at a questionable bar called The Castaways.  Not a nice place to bring ones daughters, but it was close to the peanut butter restaurant and we were freezing.
